The Type 45 destroyer will work alongside 25 other warships, support vessels and submarines from half a dozen navies for ‘a two-week test of the French fleet – and the ability of its allies to operate side-by-side,’ during Exercise Polaris 21, the RN say.

The formation flight of specially painted Chinook and Puma helicopter took place to mark over 90 years of combined service. ‘The Puma (XW224), from RAF Benson, has completed 50 years of service; while the Chinook (ZD984), from RAF Odiham, has completed 40 years of service,’ the RAF say.

The turretnumbers (for what its worth..) are the same. Good to see it survived!
Yes - it looks to be the same one - and they have got it running, and it's got a decent paint job

Quite a historic tank to be honest, looking at newspaper clipping on Facebook

Royal Marines of 42 Commando have joined the international fight against piracy in West African waters while on operations with HMS Trent.
The commandos are experts in boarding operations, known officially as Maritime Interdiction Operations, and have been sharing knowledge and expertise in the skills needed to board, search and – if needs be – seize suspect vessels with local forces.
Marines are in the Gulf of Guinea – one of the world’s piracy hotspots – as the UK looks to improve security and help prevent widespread piracy which has seen international shipping suffer, seafarers’ lives put in danger and damage caused to the economies of nearby nations.
HMS Trent and the marine have visited Nigeria, Ghana and Senegal to foster ties and train local forces, equipping them in the fight against illegal activity, and spoken to local fishermen to understand patterns of life during security operations in the Niger Delta.
