The cracks are not in the deck. A steel deck doesn't crack in that fashion. It seems that the non skid deck surfacing has cracked up, probably from being applied with water/moisture still on the deck surface. A badly done job of non skid application but certainly not a major issue with the deck itself IMHO

I'm always surprised by the width of the Queen Elizabeth. What an imposing ship !
It seems that there are plans to modify the ship for STOBAR or CATOBAR operations.
