Ukrainian forces received the first batch of T-72AMT tanks. All in al, the procurement of less than 50 is planned. Given that T-64 family is the standard for the armed forces with Marines and Airborne troops favoring T-80, recent acquisition of significantly re-worked T-72s looks like a marketing exercise to attract the foreign customers.

small number is this enough !?

I think the T-72 is not the main model Ukraine wants to use in its forces. Probably hard to supply with spare parts compared with the well-established T-64. Is there news on the T-84 being procured? Does anyone know how much of these are in service and if production is still desired?

I think about a dozen or so Oplots are in Ukrainian inventory, and I'm not even sure that they have been assigned to any unit. There has been a talk of limited scale production (again with an aim to entice foreign customers) for years, but nothing came out it. These tanks are just very expensive for Ukraine to afford. I think Ukrainians are busy upgrading their T-64s and T-80s with Turkish comms, night vision, and fire control systems.

Ukrainians are betting that this should suffice. There have been very few armor on armor engagements in the conflict. Both sides use tanks in Infantry support roles. Russians did try a couple of battalion sized armor attacks on Ukrainian forces during the fighting around Debaltsevo, but with no air support and poor infantry performance these ended in disaster for the Russians.

Ukrainians are well quipped with ATGMs now. The thinking is that upgraded T-64s, T-80s, and T-72s coupled with a missile umbrella should be enough to beat back the Russian force equipped with T-72B3s. If the Russians would break through somewhere or deploy T-90s in significant numbers, then Javelin equipped tank hunting teams would go into action.

In short, Oplots are nice to have, but not a priority at this point.

How can or how do you imagine how this war should end or ended.
The country is bleeding, there are still families who have no dead.
This war has already been forgotten in the EU. Your economy cannot develop positively.
Entry into NATO or EU is not possible in this state.
The Russians will never give up the Crimea or anything else.
how does it go on?
?

Once again, I'm not Ukrainian I'm just helping the guys and their families... a lot. I have no idea how this will end. It all depends on Russia. Most likely, Moldovan and/or Georgian scenario. Hoping for Operation Storm-like end in Donbas. However, I'm a pessimist and think that this kind of war could go on for forever since Russia is interested in full control of Ukraine, preferably full annexation of the country.

OK. I have not posted pics of this kind in a while since I work with Special Forces and recently I haven't been able to get permission from the units commanding officers as well as counterintelligence to share pics of the gear I supply to the troops with a wider audience. Once again, not sure what the logic is as I don't break any laws and simply don't have financial resources to supply "game changing" equipment.

Anyway, this is the third and unfortunately the last camera built by me as GoPro discontinued Session like a few years back, and it's tough to get pre-owned units in good condition anymore. The camera has been extensively tuned with airsoft gear and accessories. Sniper pair is using it to shoot a promo video. Whether it's going to be posted or not remains to be seen as well.

And here is the video (professionally made). At least partially shot using the "tactical GoPro Session 5" :) that I supplied

It's really good. "Azov"-caliber work.
