Some of the recent developments of Border Guards Bangladesh(BGB):

Bangladesh deployed BGB to St Martin's Island near Myanmar border after 22 years as Myanmar started construction of military structures along their side of the border in April 2019.

More recently, BGB announced plans to fortify the island and equip its soldiers with Corsar ATGMs from Ukraine.

The photos you shared is Otokar APV (Armoured Patrol Vehicle) which is no longer in production. However I have also heard inside rumors from the Otokar that BD military is in contact with them to procure more Cobra II APCs which could be around 500 units.

According to multiple Bangladeshi sources, Bangladesh Army has received 22 Cobra I in 2017 and 250 Cobra II in mid 2019 and around 600-650 Cobra II is on order. The army has been very satisfied with its performance and there are reports that the 330 BTR-82A IFV ordered from Russia in 2013 been cancelled in favour of the Otokar Cobra II.

Update:
The two Type-053H3 frigates - BNS Umar Farooq (F16) and BNS Abu Ubaidah (F19) have reached Bangladesh from China.

They will be commissioned later this month along with two Shadhinota Class Corvettes - BNS Shongram (F113) and BNS Prottasha (F114)

Later this year, a further two more Type-053H3 frigates will join the Bangladesh Navy fleet. They are BNS Khalid Bin Walid (F20) and BNS Osman (F18).

In December 2019, Bangladesh Navy has confirmed during a parade that it will purchase more corvettes, large patrol crafts, anti submarine helicopters, long range maritime patrol aircraft, other smaller patrol crafts and auxiliary ships in the year 2020.

Update:

President of Bangladesh, Abdul Hamid, announced on live television today that Bangladesh Air Force is going to purchase 16 4++ generation multi role fighter aircrafts, 8 attack helicopters and Bangladesh Navy will get 6 next generation frigates built locally in Bangladesh.

My observation :

The frigate contract would most likely be PLAN Type-054A frigates with transfer of technology. AESA radar and multirole VLS system technology would be incorporated from type-052D Destroyer. There were reports that Turkey offered Bangladesh Navy frigates from its MILGEM project but BN rejected it in favour of the type-054A.

For attack helicopters, it would probably be the AH-64. A few pages ago, I posed about BAF negotiating with US for AH-64.
However, there are many Russian websites claiming that BAF has already purchased 8 MI-35M. Previously, BAF has shown interest in Mi-28N, Z-10, T-129 and Mi-35M.

T-129 was shown in army billboards and in the near future, the army aviation (not the air force) is going to purchase it.
However, the AH-64 is the most probable for BAF out of all these and BAF has been already negotiating recently for these helicopters. Pictured here are Bangladeshi soldiers with an American AH-64.
FB_IMG_1578066940641.jpg

For fighter jets, I cannot say for sure which aircraft BAF would go for. BAF has not bought any 4th gen fighter jet in the last 20 years so I am not sure which direction BAF will go. Russia's SU-30MKK/MKI based variants seemed to be the top contender for years and so is the MiG-35 but the quality of Russian equipment cannot keep up with its other competitors and hence Bangladesh is not purchasing any major defence equipment from Russia anymore since 2013. Their continued support for Myanmar in the rohingya crisis is also a big factor here. However, there is still a chance they might go for Russian birds.

FB_IMG_1577651004703.jpg

The Chinese J-10CE has a good chance as the Chinese engines have matured and improved alot, it has AESA radar and has PL-15 which is a game changer. There are also pictures of BAF pilots test flying the J-10. However, along with the Russians, the Chinese also deeply support the Myanmar and provides the backbone of its military.

The Royal Air force has offered Eurofighter Typhoon to BAF in mid 2019. Typhoons would give BAF a major advantage over its regional counterparts but its high price tag means it would be difficult to fit them into BAF budget.

And lastly, there is the F-16. Along with the Ah-64, BAF was also negotiating for fighter jets but no model has been named. BAF would most likely look for F-16 E/F block 60 or F-16V Block 70/72. BAF was previously interested in F-16 in the 1990s but due to security issues, the USA refused to sell the 36 F-16s BAF requested. In recent time, military cooperation between the two countries increased greatly and the US is finally willing to sell BAF its newest F-16 variants. Pictured here are Bangladeshi officials inspecting US fighter jets.

The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) has announced that all 5 of the C-130Js ordered for the Bangladesh Air Force would be delivered by March 2020.

The first of the five aircraft was rolled out by Marshall ADG during an official ceremony in mid-July 2019. As Marshall ADG noted at the time, the company is carrying out comprehensive depth maintenance and important modifications on all the aircraft including capability enhancements such as medical evacuation and avionics upgrades.

The Bangladesh Air Force has previously noted that the acquisition of C-130J aircraft from the RAF provides a key enhancement to its current airlift capability. As well as performing in-country support of the aircraft, Marshall ADG will also be modifying the aircraft, including designing, developing, and installing medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) capability to enable the Bangladesh Air Force to carry out tasks within the country and overseas in support of UN missions.

Bangladesh-Indonesia joint venture Stingray class high speed interdiction craft built by DEW using advanced materials. The craft are based on the Swedish CB90 design.
They are used by both Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Coast Guard.

Dockyard and Engineering Works (DEW) won the tender for two LPC-ASuW ( Large Patrol Craft - Anti Surface Warfare), equivalent to light corvettes.
Primary armament would be 8 x Italian, Turkish or South Korean anti-ship missiles. They will posses the most advanced sensors and weaponry of any warship produced in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Navy will build many such LPCs as indicated by the PM during her address to newly commissioned BN officers at the Bangladesh Naval Academy.
