MAC-V SOG Recon Team members during the Vietnam War.

On the far left is native Canadian bow hunter, Bob Graham who joined the US Special Forces MAC-V SOG and carried his a 55-lb draw weight personal bow and broadhead arrows into operations in Cambodia during the Vietnam War.

The Huey in the background was operated by the 195th. or Green Hornet's based on the markings, who often ran support for MAC-V SOG operations.

He's Australian, a Naval ofcr I believe. His name is above the right pocket and the word Australia is above the left pocket. Probably and advisor of some sort

It's a photo montage from a clothing site.

Naval ranks? Australian❓
Great question! I assumed it was a US Advisor wearing the uniform of the SVN unit to which he was attached??? My second guess was French. All said, I am sure one of the guys on this forum will have the answer.
Cheers!

It's a montage image from a clothing site, the background is from Vietnam but the Jeep and "model" are superimposed. The beret and chest badge have no military relation, the naval insignia is for a Commander rank but the name tape says "US Marine" on the left breast. It's a hodge potch "would of, could of, should have" image

? notworthy;

I was convinced it was an US advisor to the ARVN Marines, the beret badge and the patch on the pocket look just like the real insignia. At least what I could distinguish from the bad quality pic.

Good lord, how the hell could you make that out!!?? :oops: ? The pic I see is too blurry. Regardless, thanks for the insight.

Cheers!
