They worked for years there for our troops. Many soldiers also know them for years.
Soldiers are those which at the moment are working the most to bring these people to safety. They know them well.
There is a private Patenschaftsnetzwerk (Sponsorship network) to help them.

These loyal people were betrayed by our incompetent authorities. I don't know what German authorities do besides misjudging everything.
They often have families. I can not imagine how that must feel having done many missions for years together and then leave them to one of the most brutal scum on earth. I couldn't do it. Its against all values and honour.
Germany has so many immigrants. It wouldn't be a problem to bring all locals and their families to Germany.
These soldiers are very concerned about their safety but are not supported in fact the bureaucracy even hinders them. They can only leave via Kabul. Otherwise they wouldn't be accepted into Germany.
