- TONG William Edwin. Chief-Stoker, 143195, HMS Pembroke. Born 22 April 1868 at Dunkirk near Faversham. Kent to Isaac and Jane Elizabeth Tong nee Price of Horse Lees, Dunkirk, Kent enlisted 21 October 1887 on HMS Pembroke occupation prior to enlistment, labourer. Died 24th August 1918 aged 51 years from acute eutero colitis uraemia in a hospital in Malta. At rest in Plot C Grave 384 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
