PELLOW Frederick Charles DSM . Able Seaman 196467 Royal Navy on HMS Caesar. Born 12 December 1880 at Wolborough, Devon enlisted 11 November 1897 on HMS Northampton occupation prior to enlistment, labourer. Died 3rd October 1918, aged 37 years in a hospital in Malta. His death was caused by falling from aloft fracturing his skull and sustaining other injuries. Through inquiries on board, no blame attributable to anyone. Awarded the DSM for action at Gallipoli 16 May 1916. Wills and Admin, Ancestry. His address in England was given as 9 Ronald Terrace, Ford Devonport and his effects went to John Pellow, fitter.
At rest in Plot C Grave 391 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
