Ironically the term "redneck" originates from the unions set up by miners in what is now the Rust Belt to protect themselves from exploitation. They wore red scarfs around their necks to identify themselves as union members. Really and here I thought you are against international sources, but hey we have drug war on going. Nevertheless, it doesnt change the issue in the US... the main difference is the majority of the people here approve and see the actions of the police as legit encounters, so you have something we dont, massive protests against the cops. Maybe because though our coppers are killers when it comes to the drug war, they tend to be borderline harmless to civilians. You will see far more videos of our cops being verbally assaulted by civilians for giving them a ticket, than a copper beating your ass cause you said something.* We also have checks and balances***

* when your cops are so corrupt that they prefer to be harmless than to lose a good gig
** Cops who killed a teenager all got 40 years.
*** They have no immunity and we have a rabid Human Rights Commission and theres also the SPARU (Sparrow) unit by the communist rebels that shots cops dead when they go out of line... this is also why your talks about ANTIFA as a terror org is a laughable joke for most outsiders. )

Against international sources? Not really. If you are saying that extra-judicial murders committed by your police forces are OK because they are criminals and "deserved it", that sounds a bit weak. George Floyd was a career criminal too with drugs in his system when he was killed. I dare you to find anyone who will justify his killing based on that. The vast, vast majority of our cops are good cops.

I'm not sure if he is Antifa or not but was certainly a well known agitator. He was there to stir the pot. Also, that blood pouring out of his ear is reported to be fake, cannot confirm that though. It does make for poor optics for the police, which was probably the whole point.

Against international sources? Not really. If you are saying that extra-judicial murders committed by your police forces are OK because they are criminals and "deserved it", that sounds a bit weak. George Floyd was a career criminal too with drugs in his system when he was killed. I dare you to find anyone who will justify his killing based on that. The vast, vast majority of our cops are good cops.

Yes, literally the whole nation is united in that feeling, which makes the rioting counterproductive in that cause. It's curious, that Minneapolis is run by Democrats. From the city council to the mayor. Not Democrats like the ones we grew up with, like Clinton, Carter, LBJ. These are radicalized Marxists extremists. I mean, they run everything. The police as well as everything else in town. And yet, they are still pointing fingers elsewhere as if they aren't the ones in power.

So what happens now? Larger businesses which employ hundreds in the neighborhood, have said they won't rebuild there and suffer the same fate when they are unprotected by the city and will move elsewhere to rebuild. Small business may never re-open. If they are successful in defunding the police, whoever can move, will move. In the end, radicals will only be left to govern themselves - and with no tax base to fund them. Somehow, that seems like Capitalism working.

Pity about Minneapolis. I haven't been there in many years, but it was a pretty city. But when you elect woke radicals to run your town, you've just killed it.

Mayor "Triple Threat" has turned out to be a huge disappointment to the people of Chicago. She was seen as the lesser of two evils, because she wasn't a Machine Democrat with ties to Machine Democrat corruption. But she has turned out to be worse. More concerned about her angry anti-Trump politics than the people of her city. It would hard to imagine the people giving her another chance. Hope not.
