Chazman might be talking about former Iranian leader and president Ahmadinejad who apparently would have said such thing, but that was way back and I’m not sure of his exact quote or if he really stated it and meant it.

Even the chubby fool of North Korea has no immediate or short term plan to nuke South Korea.

There have been two Iranian leaders in the past who have made comments possibly related to this:

The former President Rafsanjani once claimed that Israel is a one-bomb state, meaning that one nuke is enough to completely subdue the country (due to its small size).

Ahmadinejad who once said that Israel must vanish from the map of the world. But this is a tricky translation, as it doesn't necessarily mean that the country must be wiped from the face of the world through nuclear weapons or militarily brought into submission.

I don't think Iran will ever use nukes against any country. The mullahs or whatever you want to name them are too strategic and rational to ever turn into such suicidal mode.

The videos from Iron Dome in action are something else. Two missiles are launched for every projectile predicted to hit a populated area, yes? The Palestinians clearly attempted to oversaturate Israel's air defence.

Damn:

It’s obvious the Iranians are orchestrating these attacks to see what it would take to overwhelm Israeli defenses.
Whatever you think of Israel, they certainly aren’t stupid. I expect offensive action soon. And not just in Gaza.

This is an extension of the wider (shadow) war going on between Iran and Israel in the region. Israel has been moving against Iranian targets for quite some time now, and an Iranian response was long overdue. Well, here it his.

Persians will fight Israel to the last arab, shia to the last suni, etc...

No doubt. Expect an escalation.

Anyway it looks like hamas and other jihadi tools are going to run out of rockets within a week or before, then dogooders will be insisting on another ceasefire. Hopefully IDF will inflict maximum damage to jihadists meantime.

Impressive yes but if your at the stage of building weapon systems to try and solve a political problem then you ve lost before you even start . I've no real beef in this fight , moreover it seems more like political failure on both sides while the general populace suffer .

Guys, let our resident IRI shill do his victory lap. It's all he will have to cling to. The part he doesn't articulate in his pseudo-rationalistic exultations of the "emerging ultimate hegemon Iran" is that this attack smacks of desperation from Iran's rulers. They are despearate for sanctions relief, desperate for financial breathing space and desperate in general.

They are running out of time, financially and demographically. What our shrewd "analyst" won't tell you is that Iran itself is in massive decline on all fronts, which inevitably happens if you pour more than half of your national resources into foreign terror proxies and questionable weapons programms while your average citizen can't even get the corona jab.

The name has escaped me right now, but the guy wrote under the handle of Spengler for a while, he basically argued that the more Iran's regime gets cornered the more they will try to escalate violence across the region in order to cling to power. Well, I'd say what we're seeing would fit that pattern.

Tomorrow the dust will settle, a lot of Palestinians, Syrians and other Arabs will be turned into red mist, Israel will once more pound Iranian targets in Syria while Russia looks the other way. Rinse and repeat.
