Just gettin the first news about a Coup against Maduro´s Gov is going on at this moment.

"El Presidente" Guaido was seen in a vid together with military forces at La Carlota Airbase in Caracas, calling for support from military units across the country and population to go on the streets to support the military in the transition of power. He was accompanied by former presidential candidate Leopoldo Lopez who was freed from detention by Maduro´s forces.

Currently no public transport in Caracas, and "El Presidente" Maduro is rumored to be holed up in the Presidential palace surrounded by loyalist and Cuban Advisors.

Seems that, this time the dice has been cast.

Some Interesting twitter posters to get information on this ongoing situation:

Ongoing coup named "Operación Libertad" By Rebel Military Command.

Seems that things are heating up. Rebel military units on the streets in full combat gear. Reports about Paramilitary Chavistas Grouping up West of Caracas to make a move to La Carlota where the rebels are grouping.

Seems that after this, only one "El Presidente" will remain in Venezuela

Lots of rumours and info going around, take it with the usual truckload of salt.
But those Rebel military with PKMs mounting roadblocks and taking defensive positions, seem to be real enough to see that there is trouble at the Chavista Paradise.

Probably some Marine units back at US are gettin ready for a short flight.... just in case..... you never know....

You dont mess with another "El Macho" Bananas ??

Seems we already have a "Caracas Bob" (Gen Alexis Cabello). Saying that situation is under control and that most of the Rebels already surrendered and that La Carlota Airbase is under Maduro´s loyalists control. (Meanwhile some shoots in the background and the vid is filmedin the middle of nowhere instead of at the proper airbase).
Time will tell, situation still ongoing nationwide, with incidents been reported across whole Venezuela.

If Maduro doesn't get out of town soon - like a quick trip to Cuba - he could wind up like Quadaffi.
I would say so, but this guys have proved themselves masters of playing situations down, while waiting for friendly regimes international support, and letting their rivals die of sheer boredom

As far as I am aware this guaido fella isn't even that popular in Venezuela , what with no one even knowing who the hell he is though I must confess I'm thinking of declaring myself president of the UK . Watch this space......

Exclusive - Blackwater founder’s latest sales pitch: mercenaries for Venezuela
Erik Prince - the founder of the controversial private security firm Blackwater and a prominent supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump - has been pushing a plan to deploy a private army to help topple Venezuela’s socialist president, Nicolas Maduro, four sources with knowledge of the effort told Reuters.

Over the last several months, the sources said, Prince has sought investment and political support for such an operation from influential Trump supporters and wealthy Venezuelan exiles. In private meetings in the United States and Europe, Prince sketched out a plan to field up to 5,000 soldiers-for-hire on behalf of Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido, according to two sources with direct knowledge of Prince’s pitch.

snip...

One of Prince’s key arguments, one source said, is that Venezuela needs what Prince calls a “dynamic event” to break the stalemate that has existed since January, when Guaido - the head of Venezuela’s National Assembly - declared Maduro’s 2018 re-election illegitimate and invoked the constitution to assume the interim presidency.

Lots of vids showing situation heating up at this twitter link.

Reports and vids of Protesters and armed rebel military units marching to the presidential palace at this moment.
Hopefully this doesnt end up in a bloodbath, but some Maduro´s cronies and military brass have a lot to lose.

And who's paying Blackstone ? I'm sure it's not a freebie in the name of peace . To be honest it all seems like a giant false flag this , up there with the alleged gas attacks in Syria . We "need" to intervene to save people , it's the same narrative over and over . Leave Venezuela to it , if they've got problems let them sort it .

25 military officers (pro-Guaidó) asked for asylum in the Brazilian embassy in Caracas.

Chilean Foreign Minister says that Leopoldo lópez, oppositor leader, his wife Lilian tintori and theis childs, are sheltered in Chilean embassy in Caracas.

In Spanish:

I must add, that Eldiario.es is a leftish Spanish and pro-Maduro online newspaper.

I hope Maduro will see this map. Americans have no assets for military intervention in the theatre at the moment.

Trump threatens embargo, sanctions against Cuba
“If Cuban Troops and Militia do not immediately CEASE military and other operations for the purpose of causing death and destruction to the Constitution of Venezuela, a full and complete........embargo, together with highest-level sanctions, will be placed on the island of Cuba. Hopefully, all Cuban soldiers will promptly and peacefully return to their island!” Trump tweeted Tuesday evening.
