Class Dom Aleixo P1148.
Vessels of this class were named in honor of two traditional chiefs of Timor - D. Aleixo Corte-Real and D. Jeremias de Lucas - killed by the Japanese invaders, in defense of Portuguese sovereignity, during the Second World War.
Maintenance of FIAT G 91 R/4 aircraft at OGMA, in 1968. In the foreground is visible the G 91 R/4 “5409” which was at the service of the Air Force in Mozambique and Guinea. It was destroyed in an accident that occurred on October 4, 1973, during a flight from the BA12.
