Agreed CT! Along with a drop in sales of ALL merchandise, on-line viewing and TV viewers. The next two Quarterly Earnings for the NFL will show them crashing into the earth! Same for NASCAR and these companies/corporations taking images of their products, pandering to a base of less that 1%!

NASCAR is pretty much a regional sport unlike NFL with a fan base restricted to the South East and South of the USA. Also, the fan base is almost 100% white.

NASCAR will survive no doubt but it has been in trouble for a number of years . If their demographic have been hit pretty hard economically due to COVID then I'd expect their troubles to continue a little while longer .

Actually it is a lot more diverse than you would think.
20% are minorities and the viewership is spread out across the US.

Other than sounding brainwashed, what does your statement have to do with what I posted? Can you elaborate? I am saying the NFL and NASCAR will survive this drama and showed that the fans are more diverse.

Oh yes, but I mean before the pandemic even started. It’s all good to me to build large stadiums in every cities, but rather pointless if they don’t make a dime of revenue.

If the NFL game is not a sell out, then there is no TV broadcast in the local market. In my almost 30 years in the States, I've not witnessed San Francisco 49ers game being blacked out, even when the team was the worst in the NFL. NFL rules the land over here.

The real irony is that the athletes in the NFL are predominantly black, making astronomical salaries supported by white fans.

The league has been seeing large drops in attendance for several years now, and an even larger drop since Colon Krapperdink started his ill-informed spoiled/aggrieved media-brat routine.

Even my Steelers are seeing a lack of full seats, at least in actual attendance. Watch how many take a really long time or don't return after halftime... The beer and brats in the parking lot are more fun.

BTW: Premier League looked rather lame yesterday with the empty stands, and the constant virtue signaling about BLM.... After a couple minutes of the sportcasters talking up BLM during the initial series, I turned it off.
