On Friday evening, a new batch of 50 JLTV vehicles arrived in Lithuania - thus the implementation of the contract signed by the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defense and the US Government in 2019 for the purchase of 200 JLTV off-road vehicles was completed.
On Monday, January 8, the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense announced the opening of a repair and service center for M1A2 Abrams tanks in the town of Rukle, Kaunas district. At the beginning of the year, the facility began servicing vehicles belonging to the US Army, which are stationed in Lithuania as part of the strengthening of NATO's eastern flank.
