I wasnt aware Latvia used the CVRT series of vehicles, good photos of the Scimitar (CVRT)

In my region the purchase of these vehicles was quite widely commented. Latvia, like other Baltic states (Lithuania and Estonia), after the annexation of the Crimea by Russia, was looking for a way to quickly, relatively cheaply and effectively increase its defense capabilities. In this situation, the selection of ex-British vehicles was quite a reasonable solution.
Sorry for my English.

Well you all picked a well tested and combat proven vehicle type, the CVRT is a versatile vehicle.
Your English is fine brother ;)

You're right. However, the Latvian armed forces still lack a heavy component such as tank subdivisions with Leopard 2 or Challenger tanks. Antitanks missiles will not always work against the tanks of the T-72 B3 class. The artillery upgraded the American self-propelled M109s, but these were all ad-hoc measures, and their long road to a planned and thoughtful modernization of their armed forces, especially anti-aircraft defense, awaited them. They have a good example of how to develop a defense based on a not very large fund and area - Finland.

From April 24 to May 12, in Germany, in Hohenfels, Latvian soldiers and military equipment take part in Combined Resolve military training to train interoperability and collaboration as well as the ability to plan and perform common tactical tasks in a multinational environment.
The Latvian Armed Forces represents approximately 20 Ground Forces Mechanized Infantry Brigade soldiers and four (ex-British) "CVR (T)" wehicles in training.
