When you are in the process of taking over a oil tanker with three American destroyers in the vicinity that try to prevent you from doing that but you clearly aren't impressed:
You are telling me that the US Navy deploys three American ships to intercept Iranian forces supposedly hijacking their own oil tanker?
No, that isn't what happened. Going by Iranian sources, the US tried to seize that oil tanker (like the last time) under the justification of its secondary sanctions against Iranian oil exports, which the IRGC-N managed to simply prevent.
U.S. and Iranian officials gave conflicting accounts of a ship that was seized last month. Some reports said it was the same tanker the United States had seized last year. The Pentagon denied that.
