The funeral is to take place on Thursday of a teenage soldier killed when an army helicopter crashed in the Czech Republic on 9 September.
Vincent Crain, 19, from Rochdale, Greater Manchester, was killed with three other soldiers and two crew.
A requiem Mass is due to take place at Sacred Heart RC Church in Rochdale.
A Ministry of Defence inquiry is continuing into the crash. Initial reports had said the craft hit unmarked power lines.
