My name is Jeremy, but you can call me Swboats. I am a US Navy veteran, serving from 1994 - 2002. I was a BM2(SW), which is a Boatswain Mate 2nd Class, with Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, which is why my name is "Swboats." I do scale modeling, mostly of aircraft. That's how I found this site. I am planning on using some of the images on here to reference for paint scheme's.
I was stationed aboard the USS Grasp (ARS-51) for about 4 years. That's where I made E-5 and earned my ESWS pin. I spent my remaining 3 or so years as a Navy recruiter, eventually becoming the Recruiter-in-Charge of my station in Kokomo, Indiana. I currently live in southern Indiana and work as a writer for an outdoor magazine. I'll gladly answer any questions that anyone has as long as I'm able to ask question to all of you!
