Photos BMD-2 Project Separatist Eastern Express 1/35

So I started building a new project. I professionally called it the Separatist. I pulled an old DMD-2 model made by Eastern Express from the cabinet. I bought decals from the company Red Dreer. My goal is to build a model of the vehicle used on Donbass by the local militia. The militia was formed when in 2014, after a coup d'état, the Ukrainian army tried to occupy the Donbass. That's when the civil war began, which continues to this day. Everyone builds models of Ukrainian technology here and someone has to make the "bad" boys.

In the end, I started building, glued the fuselage and replaced the barrel from the kit with a purchased metal one.

I continued building of the model, during building I've found that I'm missing a few track links, I'll have to replace them somehow.

Adjust the torsion bar of the inducer to make the inducer move towards the rear of the vehicle body

The track shoes are eight sections short. It should be enough for the inducers on both sides to be adjusted backward to the lower part of the headlight group

By the looks you are a 'sprue' missing - should be easy to cast 16 to fill in the gaps and hid them on the bottom

I added a few things made of a thin plate, obtained from tealights. And sprayed model by Mr. Surfacer 1000 for painting.

It's time to paint, I use basic green for Soviet and Russian vehicles. Which I mix from the colors Tamiya XF-4 and XF-58 in a ratio of 1/1. I sprayed my model with this mixture.

Here you are another step, I sprayed model by gloss varnish and then applied decals. The decals are in good quality, I used Adhesol made by Agama and Tensol as a softener.
