Last Monday completed 74 years the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, one of the most painful days of American History. Well answering the question in your title I would always remember this day, alas if we forget it it then we have learnt nothing from it.

When it comes to the loss of good men and women who have paid the ulitimate price for freedom we should never forget
 
The Americans were caught off guard and I am sure they would have done things differently in hindsight.
But will they forget?, no I doubt it nor should they
