Photos "Battle of the Bulge"....then and now.

This is after "The Bulge", but I guess it's as well on the timeline as geographically close enough to put it in here.

On February 20th 1945, Sgt. Theodore W. Sizer filmed men of the 319th Infantry bringing POWs into the Regimental CP, located at the Petry Farm in teh village of Niedersgegen, Germany, just across the border from Luxembourg. Later on he also took shots of tanks and tank destroyers moving through the village.

As a side note.....kinda funny really, look close at the two pics above of the stone wall/bluff.....you can see WWII graffiti in the same spots as the modern graffiti, that's wild!! o_O
