Mongrels wanting it torn down! Glad to know that a solution was found

Yeah, thanks, BZ. I'm not a particularly religious man, but I don't see why this should be a huge issue. Each plaque can show an individuals religious belief, if desired (although most don't have any overt symbolism). The giant cross isn't a problem for me, we are after all a mostly Christian nation, and I see it more as a "come check this out" signpost, rather than a call to a specific religion.

I believe we've got to respect the history, not the modern PC interpretation of the history. During the Rhodesian troubles I remember the UK government saying there would be no services for the Apartheid states that served in WW2 on Remembrance day. My step-dad said, F*ck that, we're going, and a huge crowd was there to show respect to the Rhodesians and South Africans that served in WW2. I was proud to stand and honor their service, regardless of the politics back in their home countries.

Four MV-22B Ospreys from VMM 268 Red Dragons successfully completed a trans-Pacific flight from Okinawa, Japan to MCBH Kaneohe Bay Hawaii, on May 2, 2019.
The flight demonstrated the United States Marine Corp's reach and responsiveness in the Indo-Pacific & its ability to get where they need to be within hours.
