C-19 rifle training, gifting, and swearing in takes place on 16 November 2018 at the Cormack Community Centre in Cormack, Newfoundland. Range training session with C-19 rifles and standing up ceremonies are held 16 November 2018 at the Upper Humber Rod and Gun Club in Deer Lake, Newfoundland on 17 November 2018.

During Ex FIGHTING WARRIOR 2019 (FW19) company A of the tactical group from 34th Canadian Brigade Group secured a village. The Reservists attacked the insurgents hidden in different buildings and took back the area from the enemies. The purpose of FW19 is to confirm the battle task standards to a platoon level. The purpose of FW19 is to confirm the operational skills of reservists in different situations and environments.
