You can see MG3 with HK23 (90s)

It is a good machine gun and is easier to transport in the field than the MG3.

Land forces are no longer using it, but still in use by Gendarmerie.

Qualification flights of the new ATR-72 Meltem III maritime patrol aircraft for the Turkish Navy. For the original plan Turkish Navy was ordered 15 units of ATR-72 fitted with maritime patrol & ASW electronics, airborne sonar, SAR radar, sonobuoys, countermeasures and Mk.54 torpedoes by the early 2000, however delays and urgent need of the projet leads them to convert 9 CASA CN-235 which transferred from TurAF with the same ASW equipment as part of Meltem I/II projects and decreased the ATR-72 Meltem III MPA numbers to 6 and +2 original ATR-72 aircraft for transportation needs.

Oldies Goodies: Civilians taking picture front of a Letov S16T Smolik bomber & reconnaissance plane named "Soma" in Eskişehir, 1930. For the ones who did not know the story, It was an old tradition came from the first days of Ottoman Air Corps to each district of country to budget it's own plane/planes to military as donations. The tradition was also continued during the early years of Turkish Republic until .So this one is financed by the Soma district of Manisa City.

The new toy of the Turkish Armed Forces, the Sungur MANPADS system, produced by Roketsan. Sungur MANPADS system developed with the gained experiences from projects like Hisar, Stinger, etc. The project is referred to as a ” Very Low-Altitude Air Defense Missile System". Planned to replace the FIM-92 Stinger MANPADS in the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces. The system incorporates much more advanced features than the FIM-92 Stinger and other systems. Sungur is a system that way more ahead of its own class, with its effectiveness and high maneuverability against air elements, high target hit capability, and countermeasure capability. the Titanium-made warhead, and a sight that allows viewing of the target from long-range.

The Sungur system was integrated into the BMC Vuran TWAV from the inventory of TSK. The Sungur MANPADS system has 4 very low-altitude air defense missiles, ready to fire. And also, the Sungur MANPADS system can fire Sungur and Cirit missiles together, and the system can engage both ground and air targets up to 8km.
