EDWARDS, Roland. Private 1584, 1/1st Herefordshire Regiment killed in action at Gallipoli attempting to rescue comrades on the 6th November 1915 aged 24. He was the son of Jeremiah Jarris Edwards and Jessie Annie Page, formerly Edwards.
He is is commemorated on his parents memorial in St Michael's churchyard, Abenhall, Gloucestershire and is also commemorated on the Helles Memorial, Turkey, including Gallipoli
