He was Private 21152, 4th Grenadier Guards, died (same as inscribed) He was born at Newnham,
Gloucestershire and enlisted at Horfield Barracks,
He is commemorated on his sons memorial in St Andrews Chuchyard, Awre Gloucestershire and is also
Commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France
