CITATION
From the middle of September 1941, until the lifting of the siege of TOBRUK in December 1941, and subsequently while the Battery was acting in a mobile role with the Polish Bde Group in the GAZA Area, Sgt ROLLO has shown outstanding qualities of leadership in most arduous conditions. His cheerfulness and coolness in frequent bombing attacks and under enemy shell fire has been an inspiration to all who were with him.
