Extended Description: Private 23540337 Joseph Ivan VENNARD. Ex 11th UDR. Shot dead by the PIRA at point blank range while he collected letters from a Sub Post Office, Kilwilkie, Lurgan, Co Armagh on the 3rd October 1973 age 33.
At rest in Lurgan Cemetery, New Line Road, Lurgan, Northern Ireland

This memorial tablet was situated at the Post Men Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire
