Born 19 March 1887 to John and Margaret Weather, nee McKenzie of 2 Clyde Terrace, St John's Road, Sandymount, South Dublin.
of 27, Sydney Parade Avenue, Dublin, Ireland. Enlisted Sept., 1914. Killed in action 16 August 1915 aged 28. Commemorated on the Helles Memorial, Turkey (including Gallipoli)
The only close connection to Whitby is through is father John, born 1852 at Staithes who was the son of Edward Theaker Westherill, born 1820 also at Staithes, Yorkshire.
