Douglas Charles Wilson FORTIER. D.F.C. Flight Lieutenant 142046 Royal Air Force stationed at RAF Little Rissington. Born 7 August 1916 died 26 April 1951 aged 34.
Flight Lieutenant Fortier was flying plane F884 Havard T.2B and aircraft FX438 collided whilst they were making their approaches to land. Flight Lieutenant D F Orchard was injured but survived. Flt Lieutenant Fortier died of his injuries.
At rest in Chapel Cemetery (part of) Moreton in Marsh Cemetery, Gloucestershire.
