Colonel Lester HILL

HILL Colonel Lester. Stoker 1st Class K/37467, Royal Navy, H.M.S. Tornado lost at sea on the 23rd December 1917 aged 20. He was the son of Joseph and Annie of 413, Warrington Road, Culcheth, Lancashire . He is commemorated on a family memorial in Newchurch, churchyard, Culcheth, Lancashire and also on the Plymouth Naval Memorial, Devon
Reg of Seaman\'s Services `900-1928, Ancestry. His first ship he served on was H.M.S. Vivid 2nd November 1917 to 17th January 1917., other ships, Woolwich, Medow and DavidII. He joined Tornado on the 30th October 1917.
