Charles Henry WALKER

WALKER Charles Henry Petty Officer Stoker 306014 Royal Navy on HMS Scourge. Born 12 June 1881 at Saxmundham Suffolk, enlisted 17 February 1904 on HMS Nelson. On the 19 November 1915 he was severely injured, burnt, as result on a boiler explosion on HMS Scourge. He died from his multiple burns 9th December 1915 at Royal Naval Hospital Bighi Malta. His wife Mildred c/o J Seaman Walpole of Halesworth, Suffolk was informed of his death 10 December 1915. At rest in Plot C Grave 290 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
