- 3.3.23 ROYSTON CARD, Lance Corporal, 6289876, 4th The Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment). Born 1917 to Richard and Edith Elizabeth Card, nee Simmonds of Lindfield, Sussex. 1912 his parents were married and his father used the of Dick for his christian name. Died 13th July 1943, aged 26 years.
3.3.23 STANLEY JOSEPH GREER. Private, 4129529, 7th Cheshire Regiment. Born 1920 to Richard and Alice E. Greer, nee Hannington of Wistaston Green, Cheshire. Died 4th August 1943, aged 23 years.
3.3.23 HENRY GABLE. Gunner 893138, 66 Medium Regiment Royal Artillery. Born 1924 to Alfred and Ellen Emily May Gable, of Maidstone, Kent. Died 9th August 1943, aged 19 years.
3.3.23 THOMAS ALBERT LEAGAS. Private 6410606, 6th Battalion, Queen’s Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died 17th August 1943, aged 20 years. Born 1924 in Hackney London to Thomas John (served in the Great war as Private G5388 Royal Sussex Regiment) and Mary Anne Leagas, nee Rolfe. He is commemorated on Audley War Memorial, Staffordshire.
