3.3.25 HAROLD BATTEN, Private, 1440953, 8th The King’s Own Royal Lancashire Regiment. Born 1901 died 12th January 1943, aged 42 years.

3.3.25 DEREK ERNEST BASCOMBE. Corporal S/181155, Royal Army Service Corps, Born 7 August 1913 to Ernest Henry and Frances Winifred Bascombe, nee Gillingham of Paignton, Devon. 1939 he was residing with his mother at 21 Prentis Road, Wandsworth, London. Occupation, estate agent and prospect management clerk. Died in Malta 13th January 1943, aged 29 years. Wills and Admin, Ancestry. His residence in England was 5 Great Headland Road, Paignton, Devonshire. His effects went to his mother.

3.3.25 WILLIAM ERNEST KEYS. Private 878860, 2nd Devonshire Regiment. Born 1920 to Ernest and Grace Winifred Keys, nee Wilkins of St. Albans, Hertfordshire. Died 1st February 1943, aged 23 years.

3.3.25 FREDERICK ATKINSON, Corporal, 3714730, 8th Battalion, The King’s Own Royal Lancashire Regiment. Born 1916 to Thomas and Sarah Atkinson, nee Houghton of Lancaster. In 1911 his parents and siblings were residing at 42 Sharp Street, Askam in Furness, Lancashire. Died in Malta 21st March 1943, aged 27 years.
