I used Canon EOS 550D to take this shot and it's good camera for me.

I think your safe with Cannon, good cameras. I use a Nikon D70, had it for years and need to upgrade the camera body soon.
I have not used it for a while, should get out there with it in the near future.

Some older photos were taken with the amazing Nikon FM3A, which I gave up only because it was analogue and not digital (since the appearance of children the pace of taking photos has increased significantly ), some photos I made a pocket-size Canon PowerShot A620 which I often carry with me and I appreciate resistance to bad conditions.
