Amazing work! I'd go cross-eyed trying to paint anything that small!

Yep, I’ve already and rightly complimented TheKiwi for the task, patience and details but I can double down on it.

He mentioned in a previous page he has a full spare room for it. I’m a bit envious, both of the talent and the spare room designated for a hobby.

I've actually run out of space in that room and have had to start selling off older (less used) stuff to make room for new projects.

Did some more 6mm vehicles, this time it's support vehicles for my US Army force.

Some M981 FIST-V forward observation vehicles

Doing some AH-1 Cobra's. I printed enough to do 8 for the US Army, 8 for the Israeli Air Force and 8 extras for Turkey or South Korea or Japan or Iran or....

Added some anti-air for my Ossis.

Mixture of eight ZSU-23-4 and eight SA-13 Gopher. I've also got another eight SA-8 Gecko waiting for bases.

and here we have 25 T-72M to go with it.

All the vehicles need the bases finished and decals applied but are otherwise done.

The Glorious Peoples Air Defence Flying Force got an upgrade with 12 x SU-22 Fitter. And I got a reminder of why I hate doing decals.

I could give you a tip about the decals: There is a liquid from Tamiya for older / poorer decals where the adhesion is almost non-existent. Spread it on the area where the decal is to be placed, apply the decal, push it into position and use a Q-tip to absorb the rest of the liquid. I only had to use this once, but it worked...

Decal Fix. I've used it (on these models in fact) and it improves the look of the decals but it doesn't take away from how tedious it was to apply 48 decals....

The liquid i mean is "Decal Adhesive", this is available in 2 versions, but I have to be honest and say that I can't remember which of the two I used... One is only called "Decal Adhesive" and the other ist "Decal Adhesive Softener Type"...

Here's the whole East German army thus far.

May i ask what colour you use for the windscreens and cockpits? It looks quite good in this size, I think...

Just GW Kantor Blue applied with a small brush.

Ah, ok thanks. From GW i use only the "Chaos black Primer" for now. I will search my favorite shops for the "Kantor blue".
I found a fantasy shop, called "Zwergenfürst" (Dwarf lord) only a few kilometers from my place, they have that blue, and have reserved it for me. I'm going there on Wednesday to get the paint. Do you use any other GW colours? And if so, which colour for what?

I've mostly switched away from GW's paints to Vallejo and some Scale75, but still have plenty of pots of them around which I use and my GF still makes lots of use of them too.

Example, I use their technical paint "Blood for the Blood God" to paint that very dark glossy red of IR searchlights and headlights on my tanks. Their Contrast paints are pretty useful for some things too - like the Black Templar can be painted over a silver weapon to make it look black metallic or for painting boots on infantry. The Contrast flesh paints are good for that too.

Thx for your listing and tips!

I used Tamiya colours nearly my whole "modellbuilding" life. For planes i used mostly Gunze acrylic paint and new to me are the Atom Colours by Ammo of Mig that i will use in the future. But still there are some colours in every colour system that are "unique" you get them only from firm XY because it seems they are the only ones that fit...

I watched throug all the photos of the modells TheKiwi build, I noticed how many of the vehicles listed are now fighting the war in Ukraine, which should never have taken place...
