Movie / TV What's the last movie you watched

I still would have been a 6 footer 100 years ago. Would have had leg room on the early days of air travel and been able to get stuff off the top shelf. Bonus.

Lots of old movies on this page. :)

Army of the Dead on Netflix.

Heist movie with zombies - there's no other way to describe it. Kept me entertained but for the life of me, I don't know why it's two and a half hours long. Feel that a lot could have been cut out of it and it still would have been fine.

Unhinged, 2020 with Russell Crowe.

Watched this on the recommandation of a friend, and I liked it. Did Russell really put on so much weight for that one or was he chubby as of late.

Good flick anyhow. Creepy as can be.

Nah, he's a fat bastard! ;)

Didn't make it through 'Army Of The Dead' far enough to write a review. Even for a Zack Snyder movie, this wasn't visually appealing enough to ignore the blatant ripping-off of far better movies; this flick is basically 'Alien' meets 'The Expendables' meets 'Ocean 11' meets 'Train to Busan'. And the only clue to Snyder having directed this mess are copious amounts of slow motion scenes. The movie is surprisingly dull, aesthetically.

And one thing I probably shouldn't have taken as seriously as I did, are Hollywood's double standards. Imagine an African-american or Indian character as bluntly stereotypical as the German guy played by Matthias Schweighöfer in 'Army of the Dead'. How they manage to convince themselves that this isn't racism I'll never understand.

I turned it off after about 20 minutes. Maybe it was the frame of mind I was in, but I found his "victim" to be so annoying I felt that I couldn't watch her whiny/bitchiness any further. I'll probably try to rewatch it later.

I think he was my favorite character!

I find I have a strange sense of humour. For example, I'm the only person I know that loved 'Grown Ups'. But I can't stand Sandler's more popular movies.

The spy gone north
One of the few movies I will rate 10/10, this is a spy movie unlike other spy movies, It is real and tells human emotions while going through a very minacious mission. The lead character Hwang Jung-min is one of my favorite actors, his other movie A Man Who Was Superman was a soul-touching cinema with flawless acting. This cinema if you are going to watch it, watch without any disturbance.

Steel Rain 2, the Korean film industry trying Tom Clancy, 3/10 good plot ruined by poor plot development.

I had the same feelings at the first 30 mins of the movie but I think you should give it a rewatch. Without any spoilers, I assure you that she won’t be “whiny/bitchy” throughout the whole movie.

I already said too much anyway. It’s a good movie, fairly “Liam Neeson manly revenge like” by the look of the story, but Russell Crowe delivers, as usual.
