Vought F-8D Crusader (BuNo 147056) of Fighter Squadron VF-111 "Sundowners" makes its attack run over South Vietnam. VF-111 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 2 (CVW-2) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Midway (CVA-41) for a deployment to Vietnam from 6 March to 23 November 1965.

Vought F-8C Crusader aircraft (BuNo 147022) from Fighter Squadron VF-111, Det.11 Omar's Orphans after a wave-off. VF-111, Det. 11 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 10 (CVW-10) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVS-11) for a deployment to Vietnam from 11 May to 30 December 1967.

These civilian Crusaders remind me of Shin Kazama's F-8 in Area 88.
