The Guard (2011), Irish movie.
A raucous one, says the films poster. You betcha! Real fun, you’d wonder if the main character is purposely dense and a slob or if he’s faking it. He’s not as dumb as he looks though and nevermind if he enjoy booze, hookers and drugs while being a cop.

The original movie made when there were actually good actors and script writers. The remake was not equal to this great one, a lot of people have never watched this movie since the release was long before they were born.
Civil War - Thoroughly enjoyed it. Going into the theater, I was less interested in the hype/politics surrounding the movie and more excited to see it due to the subject matter and that fact that I've always loved mid-budget action movies. Unfortunately, most movies that fall under that category go straight to streaming these days. But ever since watching it, certain images and scenes have remained ingrained in my mind. The movie itself is not so much an action flick but more of a tense roadtrip movie. The last half hour goes balls to the wall and has some of the best CQB I've seen put to film. And for those wondering, there is no good side or bad side in this movie. I don't even remember the words Republican and Democrat ever being mentioned.
