Iraqi security forces reportedly fired in the air and fired rubber bullets as well as tear gas to disperse demonstrators, and pro-Iranian militias, who tried to storm the Green Zone to protest the election results.

Gates of the Green Zone in Baghdad have been closed due to clashes.

Al-Arabiya correspondent reports at least 30 have been injured in clashes between security and demonstrators rejecting the election results.
