MWD Ajda served for 9 years before retiring out of Elgin AFB, FL. During her time in Florida, Ajda was certified as a Patrol Explosive Detector Dog (PEDD). She was able to directly support many United States Secret Service (USSS) missions for POTUS/VPOTUS.

Ajda was also able to deploy two times during her service, once to Saudi Arabia, and the second to the UAE.

“Ajda was my first dog. There was a dog swap and she deployed with another handler. Then I got to work her a second time and we deployed together. After we came home, she retired and got to come home to a couch in Florida with me where she never has to let go of a Kong.” -McKenzie
