The deductible for homeowners' insurance in Florida must be in the 5 figure range. We had 2 fairly severe hailstorms here, and my deductible for roof repair went from $500 to $1500. We did need a new roof after the last one and went with "bulletproof" shingles which helped a lot with monthly insurance expense.
For perspective, it had been 9 years since we needed a new roof.

I was expecting FEMA to fumble and mess up, but for someone in charge to give clear and explicit instructions to not assist households with Trump signs specifically is criminal.
