In the ongoing efforts to replace the outdated Soviet / Eastern European vehicle park and increase mobility, the Georgian military has purchased 160 Ford Rangers to complement the Toyota Hilux and Toyota Land Cruiser fleet. The first step of transforming the logisits & transportation fleet is to be completed this year with over 500 acquisitions. Those include military trucks from MAN and IVECO.

Are these US-made or from Thailand?

Are you perhaps referring to the Cobra-II ? I don't think so because the Didgori-2 was designed before the Cobra-II. They still look very different.
Georgia is one of first users of COBRA I maybe they use same parts

You'd have to ask the company STC Delta what materials they use, but I don't think it's information available to the public. They are sensitive with such data.

I once asked them to provide just a rough 3d blueprint with realistic dimensions for an ARMA modification, and they didn't outright refuse, but asked tons of questions and eventualy agreed, but still didn't send anything.

I only know that Georgia has a few years ago made an agreement with Azerbaijan to share domestic tech and cooperate on innovations. Same but to more limited extent with Armenia. I don't know what the results were since then. I haven't heard anything about Turkey sharing tech with Georgia or vice versa.

This reminds me,

STC Delta has recently uploaded pictures of them shipping AMEVs produced specificaly for the Indonesian Mobile Brigade Corps. Guess it's now officialy confirmed. Still don't know why it says "BISON" on the front though.

Edit: Well it seems the AMEV modification is generaly referred to as "Bison" now.

The extent of the deal remains unknown.

Yeah. Finally, after 10 years, Georgians are able to buy their own equipment ...

Good, they purchased the latest variants.

Bad, they didn't replace the 23x152mm ZU-23 salvaged autocannon mount with something less stone age.

U.S. could really help out with remote weapon stations development. Just a thought.

According to the MoD, the first batch consists of 40 vehicles of different modification. It seem to be the I, modified II and AMEVs. No Warriors / mortar carriers. Evidently I was wrong about the armament. It's not the autocannon, just 12.7 x 108mm NSV RWS.
