You will need two days especially if you go to live firing demos.
You would also probably need 3 days to do the tank museum as well.
You will need visa and if in UK will need to go to visa centre for Biometric in London or Edinburgh so apply now for that. From memory maybe Manchester too.
The train goes through there from Moscow, and a free bus is provided from the station. The bus queue can be long, the weather hot and you will need WATER. You might find a handy ice cream van though.
If you go by bus you get the Metro to Park Pobedy. Exit the station to underpass and don't walk ahead under the main road but turn right and up steps is bus 339 to Odintsovo. That stops at the rail station. Opposite there up the steps is a supermarket so you can do a quick shop for stuff you need. Journey time on bus 339 is about 45 mins.
From the Odintsovo station you need Golitsyno bus number 1055.
Departure time (daily, except Saturday and Sunday): 06:15, 08:00, 10:00, 12:05, 13:55, 15:40.
