@berkut76 do you have any info on the inventory or ongoing orders of the locally produced 4x4 APCs in Ukraine service ? I noticed various models using together like Varta Novator, KrAZ Spartan, BBM Kozak and Triton APC used but I assume in low numbers.

Anyway here is a fun pic. Also notice the strange looking AK-74 which is using the first gen. gas port similiar to AK-47/AKM variants. Must be an early production variant.

Sorry, no clue. The only thing I can say is that the new vehicles are prevalent in National Guard and SBU. Army has been getting primarily BTR-3s. Also, the major issue of procurement is that with an exception of Varta Novator, the rest of the vehicles that you mentioned are essentially barns on wheels and underpowered to boot. They are not suitable for the fighting in the East of the country.

In total there are around 500 of such veichles in all of the defense services.
Firstly, "Kozak" 2 is the most popular model, not the best though. There are around 250 in the troops. Around 50 in Air Assault Forces around 5-6 in the Border Gaurd Service, others are in the National Guard. "Kozak" 5 mod, around 8, in the State Emergency Service. 50 more Kozak 2 are comming.
Next is "Varta", around 50-55 I guess and Varta-Novator - 40, most number of Vartas are in the NG and police, 10 in KORD. Some number of Novators are in the Airborne troops and some regular Vatas were given to the infantry (around 10 I guess), 40 Varta-Novator in the Army in total. Possible new contracts if Novator proves itself efficient. Also I rememeber some more Vartas were given to the MPs.
"Triton" - 4 in Border Guard. there was a contract for 60 or smth., but it flopped because of the manufacturer - a dead project by this point.
"Dozor-B" aka "Oncilla" - 10 in the Air Assault Forces, the project was good and military specific i. e. fit for the front lines. Flopped for the various reasons, mostly manufacturer F*** ups. There are hearesays that DM will opt for "Oncilla" now.
"Bars" - some number was tested, still the project was deficient just like "Triton".
KRAZ "Cougar" - around 77 veichles. Around 40 in the Border Guard, others in the NG. Don't think I should even mention it. It's a police veichle just like "Spartan". No new contracts as far as I know.
KRAZ "Spartan" - 50-60. 25 in the Air Assault Forces other in the various units of NG. No new contracts as far as I know.
The numbers are approximate and a little inaccurate simply because I don't really have the time, nor do I have the desire to go throughth the DM's white book. In short the only ones that matter are "Kozak" and "Varta" because NPO "Praktika" and Ukrarmor can walk the walk an do their contracts.
