Former USCG Drummond is unloaded in the port Odessa, Ukraine to join the Ukrainian Navy as P191 Starobils. Also in the background is USCGC Cushing, which was also transferred to the Ukrainian Navy

**IMHO, not a great deal for Ukraine, by all reports these 2 boats are pretty much run into the ground by USCG**

"Ran into the ground" definition differs between the USA and Ukraine. Once again as Patrol boats these are OK especially if Ukrainians will figure out how to put ATGM missiles on them. Plus it's a steeping stone for perhaps bigger Western vessels in the future.

A short video in English about how National Guard and Ukrainian police SWAT units train to recapture "gorvernment buildings seized by pro-Russain forces in the "grey zone" "

"Podium" for AK by FAB is from me, night vision sight has also been provided through "crowd funding" rather than government issued. In many ways I feel that the supply situation in the military is sliding towards 2014-2015.

On November 19th, 2019, Colonel Evgeniy Korostelev, commander of 128th Infantry Brigade succumbed to the wounds sustained on November 12th, 2019 during a mine explosion. Initial surgery was successful, and the surgical team even managed to preserved all of the Evgeniy's limbs, but eventually his heart gave out. The circumstances of Evgeniy's fatal wound and possible medical treatment issues are a subject of a heated debate right now in Ukraine, but for some reason the Office of a President didn't even mention Evegeniy's passing in official press release for November 19th, 2019 or expressed condolences to his family.

Well the Ukrainian ships that Russia captured last year in international waters off Crimea have been returned to Ukraine, sort of. While I expected the Russians to keep all the electronics from comms equipment (Harris radios) to fire control systems, I didn't expect them to strip the ships off everything, even plumbing. most likely the engine and hulls are damaged beyond repair as well.

Tremendous blow to Ukrainians and once again the loss that hits very close to me, personally. On November 30th, 2019 during search and destroy operation against the Russian recon team, Ukrainian forces lost two senior officers, both Colonels in SBU ALFA CTU team, Denis Volochaev and Dmytro Kaplunov just 38 and 39 years respectively.

Apparently a lost art in Ukraine.

First mid-air refueling in quite some time. Su-24 is used as a tanker.
