These issues with Russia and others are destroying forums, it is impossible to please all. The only option is to take a side and I refuse to do so publicly. Somehow social media seems to ignore the issue and as a result appears to simply carry on.

As a private webmaster I sometimes feel I should attempt to please everybody and of course I cannot without becoming embroiled in the argument.

If I see contempt in a photo forum I will take action and if I feel that members are simply baiting I will do the same.

If you want respect and honour, you must show the same. If you want your war dead from whatever era to be honoured then reciprocate the feeling.

FFS I am at a loss what to do next so goodnight

Separate threads. As you can imagine, I know a lot about Soviet and Russia history. I could do the same thing that's being done here to the Russian-themed threads without even twisting facts and taking things out of context, especially when it comes to wars in Chechnya, and thanks God, we don't have an active thread about the Eastern front during WWII. Once again, my issue with "Russia stronk" crews is that they come in typical Russian fashion call everyone a Nazi who happens to disagree with them, and like I have said a gazillion of times, they crap on existing thread, but don't seem to create one of their own. And God Forbid if somebody stands up to mother Russia lovers, they immediately break in tantrum and start chanting "Russophobia".

As long as this is photo thread it will do fine, but if you post cheap AZOV propaganda video with false claims ( MTLB/ ZOOPARK destroyed by one shell that fall 15 meters away) then you are the one who jeopardize this thread.

Off course not all AZOV videos are cheap propaganda, in many cases their videos are very interesting, but in some case they are.

I understood that you have great admiration toward that unit, and that you believe that everything they post is just a naked truth, but i am not obliged to believe same. I know something about that units, its members and their idols from WW2. Ukraina chose that those guys are members of their army, so posting pictures about other side of that unit is posting about Ukrainian millitary .

Ex member of this forum for which i claimed that he is Russophob, was one, ffs he even trolled on "Women in uniform" topic !?! with his moron comments ( something like this: Did you ever see Russian ladies they are triple in size comparing with those from pictures) you can still find his comment in WiU topic. I was in Russia several times and believe me their young ladies are beautiful.

I really appreciate your effort on this topic, and this topic i one i like and visit the most on this forum, please do not spoil it with just copying propaganda videos without even looking them.

OK, you just might as well put me under "ignore". I really like Azov and will continue to use its materials from open sources. Although, I never worked with them directly, but I did send a small present to one of the unit's female veterans, I still think that with an exception of Alfa and 140th Special forces unit, this is the only truly professional unit from all the angles in the Ukrainian military and security structure. They are highly educated, motivated, and when I see their press materials they scream "western quality" to me.

On the other hand, press releases provided by Ukrainian Ministry of Defense as well as public relations officers from individual units (I have to note that 93rd Infantry Brigade HQ improved drastically in this regard during the last rotation) make my eyes and ears bleed because this takes me back to the articles published in "Red Star" newspaper (official publication of the Soviet Ministry of Defense) in the 1980s. The language is the same, if one were to substitute the word "Ukraine" for the word "USSR", the meaning of the article wouldn't change one bit.

So, yes, "Azov" is here to stay. At the same time, I have very severe issues with their civilian offshoot "Citizens' Corps" which degenerated into a bunch of teenage troublemakers who are being prostituted (sorry, no other word can describe this) by their leaders to Ukrainian oligarchs who through disturbances of public order and smear campaigns desperately try to hold on to their remaining vestiges of influence over all aspects of the Ukrainian state and its citizens.

What the fudge, why does all this S**t infest everywhere.

Why not photos only on the thread and zero chat?

Sorry, my patience is also at the limits, I don't have to the resources and nerves to fight the "Russia stronk" brigade with their "Ukrainian Nazis", "Kievan junta", and "prosecution of Russian speaking population" cliches and nonsense with the latest being " with my naked eyes I saw Ukrainian military lob ballistic missiles at artillery shells at civilian areas of Donbas while being a cosmonaut at the International Space Station" And posting just photos of soldiers with puppies and kittens is not for me.

Ok, back to the photos.

Su-24s training flights. On a side note, from various sources I've heard that Ukrainians have been able to re-built and an accumulate a supply of late-1980s design Kh-29 air-to-ground missiles. Not the latest technology by any means, but the best Ukrainians can count on as a stop gap measure as tactical and anti-shipping missiles take the budget priority.

De-mining operations are continuing in the areas under control of Ukrainian forces. Ukrainian combat engineers have to contend with everything from the booby traps, to unexploded munitions from the last 5 years of the war as well as WWII ear surprises.
