William Henry BENNET. (M.B.E.) Chief Steward, on S.S. Franconia (Liverpool) died 21st November 1943 aged 53. He was the son of William Henry and Mary Ann Bennett, of Birkenhead; husband of Lydia Bennett, of Moreton. He is commemorated on a Screen Wall at the Landican Cemetery, Crematorium, Woodchurch, Birkenhead, Cheshire.

Thomas Frank DIXON. Captain, Pioneer Corps, died 24th August 1943. (Wills and Admin, Ancestry) He lived at Ellwood, Ellesmere, Shropshire and died 24th August 1943 at Shirlett Sanatorium, Brosley, Shropshire. His effects went to Gladys Winifred Dixon, widow. He is commemorated on a Screen Wall at the Landican Cemetery, Crematorium, Woodchurch, Birkenhead, Cheshire.

Gilbert Ernest GIBBONS. Principal Surveyor, Lighthouse and Pilotage Authorities. Mersey docks and Harbour Board Pilotage Authority S.S. Denham, died 18th July 1946 aged 61. He was the son of Samuel and Jane and he was the husband of Ethel of llandudno, Caernarvonshire. (Wills and Admin, Ancestry) He lived at 46, Dalmorton Road, Wallasey, Cheshire and died on the 18th July 1946 at Rock Channel Liverpool Bay, near Liverpool. His effects went to Ethel Gibbons, widow.
He is commemorated on a Screen Wall at the Landican Cemetery, Crematorium, Woodchurch, Birkenhead, Cheshire.

Lawrence Edgar HARTLEY. Able Seaman, Merchant Navy on S.S. Empire Celia (Glasgow)died 18th August 1947 aged 25. He is commemorated on a Screen Wall at the Landican Cemetery, Crematorium, Woodchurch, Birkenhead, Cheshire.
