- William Harold DUCK. Private 18806, 8th King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry died 19th September 1915 aged 19 at Armentiers. Son of Harold and Mary of 41 Aldermarle Road, Mount, York. He is commemorated on his grandparents Robert and Alice Cowling memorial in St John the Baptist and All Saints Churchyard, Easingwold, Yorkshire and at rest at X Farm Cemetery, La Chapelle D'Armentiers, France. Some times called Wine Avenue.
