The Sea Dart is a medium range area defence anti aircraft missile.
The missile is effective at a range of over 80 Km.
The solid fuel booster engine accelerates the missile to a speed of Mach 2 before it leaves the launcher arm.
The missile forms the main armament fo the Type 42 area defence destroyers.
